SBI extended deadline of Amrit Kalash scheme, bumper benefits are available only on FD of 400 days

SBI Special FD Scheme: SBI has once again extended the deadline of its special FD scheme Amrit Kalash.

SBI Amrit Kalash Scheme: State Bank of India, the country’s largest public sector bank, keeps launching many special schemes from time to time. The name of one such scheme is SBI Amrit Kalash FD Scheme. Under this scheme, the bank is giving the benefit of strong interest rate to its customers on 400 day FD. Now big news has come regarding this scheme. The bank has once again decided to extend the deadline of this scheme which was ending on 31 March 2024. The bank has taken this decision in view of the popularity of the scheme.

How long can you invest in the scheme?

State Bank of India has extended the deadline of Amrit Kalash Scheme till 30 September 2024. The bank has launched this scheme on 12 April 2023. SBI Amrit Kalash Scheme is a 400 day FD scheme in which common citizens are getting the benefit of 7.10 percent interest rate on investment. Whereas senior citizens are getting the benefit of additional 0.50 percent interest rate on the amount deposited under this scheme. In such a situation, they are getting the benefit of 7.60 percent interest on 400 day FD scheme. Under this scheme you can deposit an amount up to Rs 2 crore.

The deadline has been extended several times

The deadline of SBI Amrit Kalash Scheme with tremendous returns was earlier to end on 23 June 2023, which was later extended to 31 December 2023. Later it was extended till 31 March 2024. Now the bank has once again extended the deadline of this special FD scheme till 30 September 2024.

How to open an account

To invest in SBI Amrit Kalash Scheme, you can go to any branch of SBI. To open this account, you must have Aadhaar Card, mobile number, PAN card, passport size photo, e-mail ID. Go to the bank and fill a form and your SBI Amrit Kalash account will be opened. Under this scheme, interest will be deposited in your account after deducting TDS.
