SBI has Jan Dhan account, bank is giving benefit of up to 2 lakh rupees

SBI Jan Dhan account holders, the largest government bank in the country, are giving great convenience. The bank has informed customers about this tweet. As of 19 August 2020, 40.35 crore bank accounts have been opened under this scheme. Under this scheme, the account of the poor of the country is opened on zero balance in banks, post offices and nationalized banks.




SBI has written on its official Twitter account that if you apply for SBI RuPay Jan Dhan Card, then you will get accident insurance cover up to 2 lakh rupees. For this, you have to swipe this card once in 90 days. By doing this you will be entitled to get accident insurance cover of 2 lakh rupees.

  • Accidental insurance cover up to 2 lakh rupees
  • Life cover up to Rs 30,000, which is available on the eligibility conditions on the death of the beneficiary.

  • The person who opens the Jan Dhan account is given a RuPay Debit Card from which he can withdraw money from the account or make a purchase.
  • It is easy to buy insurance, pension products through Jan Dhan account.
  • If there is a Jan Dhan account, then accounts will be opened for pension in schemes like PM Kisan and Shramayogi Maandhan.
