As technology is increasing, online fraud cases are also coming to the fore. A large number of thugs are targeting people by cheating online.
In such a situation, the country’s largest bank, State Bank of India, has issued a video alerting people, asking to take some precautions. Because, most of the thugs who withdraw money from bank account use the same methods which are mentioned in the video.
SBI has given ways to evade people from thugs calling in the name of KYC verification. SBI alerted via video tweet, writing, “Protect yourself from fraudulent calls or messages requesting KYC verification.” The fraudster makes a phone call or sends a text message pretending to be a bank / company representative to get your personal details. Report such cases- cybercrime.gov.in.
