How to update mobile number through internet banking?
Step 1: Login to OnlineSBI. (https://retail.onlinesbi.com/retail/login.htm)
Step 2: Go to ‘Profile’ tab.
Step 3: Click on ‘Personal Details’ link.
Step 4: Enter the profile password.
Step 5: Your name, email id and registered mobile number will show.
Step 6: ‘Change Mobile Number-Domestic only (Through OTP/ATM)’-This hyperlink should be clicked. Then a new screen will show ‘Personal Details-Mobile Number Update’. There will be three tabs ‘Create Request’, Cancel Request’ and ‘Status’.
Step 7: Then enter your new phone number.
Step 8:That mobile number must be given again.
Step 9: Now click on ‘Submit’. Then you will get a popup message on the screen saying ‘Verify and confirm your mobile number xxxxxxxxxx’.
Step 10: Then click on ‘Ok’.
How to update mobile number from SBI branch?
Step 1: Visit the bank branch and submit the letter requesting to change the phone number.
Step 2: After necessary verification the branch will link with your new mobile number. Later you will receive an SMS on the registered mobile number about the update status.
How to update mobile number from SBI ATM?
Step 1: Go to the ATM.
Step 2: Choose the registration option.
Step 3: Enter your ATM PIN.
Step 4: Now choose the mobile number registration option.
Step 5: Then select the option to change mobile number.
Step 6: You will be asked to confirm by entering the old mobile number.
Seventh Step: Now you have to enter the new mobile number. Then you will be asked to confirm it.
Later you will be sent different OTP along with a message to new and old mobile number. It will read, ‘Please send OTP and reference number received in SMS from new and existing mobile number within 4 hours to 567676 in the following format IOTP VALUE + REF NUMBER.’
Your mobile number will be updated.
