Haryana Section 163 Imposed: District Magistrate Abhishek Meena, exercising powers conferred by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code 2023 for the peaceful conduct of the CET examination on July 26 and 27, will ban the gathering of five or more persons together.
The District Magistrate has banned the operation of photocopy shops, xerox, copying and broadcasting activities in an area of 200 meters around the examination centers of Rewari district. He also said in the orders that criminal weapons like firearms, swords, sticks, spears, axes, jelly, Gandasa, knives and weapons will also be banned.
This order will not apply to the police force and other public servants deployed on duty to maintain law and order, disabled persons carrying sticks. He also said in his orders that all coaching institutes will also remain closed (Haryana School Closed) in the district till July 27 afternoon. Action will be taken against those who violate these orders as per Section 223 of the Indian Justice Code 2023 and other Acts / Rules.
