School Closed: All schools will be closed in Maharashtra tomorrow, know the reason

Maharashtra School Closed on December 6: Maharashtra government has announced a holiday tomorrow i.e. 6 December 2024. On Friday, December 6, many sectors along with schools will remain closed. On the one hand, the new Chief Minister has been announced in Maharashtra. On the other hand, tomorrow is going to be a very special day for the students.

According to the information given by the Maharashtra government, all schools in the state will remain closed on December 6. Actually, it has been decided to celebrate the death anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar as Mahaparinirvan Diwas. All schools will remain closed on this occasion.

Maharashtra School Opening Date: When will schools open?

School holidays in Maharashtra will be on Friday, 6 December 2024. 7 December is Saturday, on which many schools have holidays. After this, 8 December is Sunday. In such a situation, some schools may open on 9 December. However, holidays other than 6 December have not been officially announced.

Babasaheb Ambedkar Death Anniversary

Mahaparinirvan Diwas is a day to pay tribute to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on his death anniversary. This year marks the 68th anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar’s death. The Maharashtra government has declared a local holiday for state government and semi-government offices in Mumbai and suburban areas.

Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Mahaparinirvan Diwas is a very important day in the calendar to pay tribute to the chief architect of the Indian Constitution and a prominent social reformer on his death anniversary. The day is observed by tributes and memorial events across the state.
