School Closed: Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar is often in the news for his statements and decisions. He has given a statement which has become a topic of discussion. The government is preparing to close English medium schools in Rajasthan.

If this happens then about 2000 Mahatma Gandhi English Medium Schools may be closed in Rajasthan. That means these English medium schools can be converted into Hindi medium. The Education Department has also issued a format regarding this. On the basis of this format, the education department will have to give a report along with reasons whether Mahatma Gandhi School should remain in English medium or not or it should be converted back to Hindi medium.

Besides, the present condition of the English medium school, number of teachers and number of students will also have to be mentioned in the report. Besides, the school will also have to give reasons for switching to Hindi medium again. On the basis of which the education department will change the school from English to Hindi medium.

In the whole matter, Education Minister Madan Dilawar says that the government is reviewing the need of Mahatma Gandhi English Medium School in Rajasthan. After this it will be decided whether the schools will run or be closed.

Madan Dilawar had given a statement regarding the suicide of coaching students.

Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar had said that only institutions cannot be blamed for the suicide of students. He had said that children’s parents and friends also contribute to suicide cases. Some percentage of pressure may come from coaching institutes, most of it also comes from parents and his/her friend circle.

While giving a statement, Madan Dilawar had said that it is not the case that coaching institutes are guilty in every case. However, he also said that this can happen in some percentage of cases. Other reasons can also be behind suicide. He said that students often fall into bad company.
