The Education Minister said that everyone’s opinion will be taken on the proposal.
After taking the opinion of all the people, it will be duly presented in the cabinet. In fact, the decision has been taken by the state government in view of frequent natural calamities in Uttarakhand and warnings of landslides during monsoon. This decision can be taken in view of landslides in river drains and many times more danger during rainy days in the disaster-prone mountainous areas of the state. Let us inform that before this, monsoon was declared from June 22 to July 29 in the hilly areas of the neighboring state of Himachal Pradesh.
Final proposal will be prepared
The Education Minister said that this problem was raised by the students at the meritorious honor ceremony organized at the Chief Minister’s residence. On which the discussion was held, the students say that there is a problem in coming to school during the rainy season. Because of which this holiday is being considered.
In the matter, Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that it is the responsibility of the government to provide a safe environment to every child of the state. It is being considered to implement monsoon leave of 10 to 15 days by reducing the summer holidays. For this, the final proposal will be prepared after taking opinion from parents and teachers. For this, discussions will be held with the ministers along with the student parents and further process will be adopted on this.

Orange alert of rain has been issued by the Meteorological Department. After which the risk of increasing the water level of the rivers has increased. In such a situation, the Block Education Officer and Deputy District Magistrate of the block will be able to declare immediate holiday in the school at the block and tehsil level.
