Winter Vacation 2024: Severe cold continues in Uttar Pradesh. In view of this, school holidays have been extended. However, currently school holidays have been extended only in Lucknow. Now schools in the district will remain closed till January 27. An order has also been issued in this regard.

Winter Vacation 2024: In view of the severe cold and dense fog, schools in Lucknow have been closed for students of classes 1 to 8 till January 27. The District Magistrate has issued instructions in this regard. At the same time, instructions have been given to keep schools closed till January 24 in Agra also.

In the order issued by Lucknow DM, it has been asked to stop offline classes in classes up to 12th and conduct online classes. At the same time, the District Magistrate of Agra has said that schools from nursery to class 8 will remain closed till January 24, 2024. The timings of classes 9 to 12 have also been changed. In Agra, the above classes will be conducted from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm.

Know what has been said in the instructions of Lucknow DM?

To minimize the impact of cold weather conditions and extended breaks on the education of students, the District Magistrate has directed schools to conduct online classes. The requirement of wearing school uniform has also been abolished. In such a situation, students can go to school wearing warm clothes.

School principals and heads have also been instructed to install heaters to control the temperature of classrooms. Apart from this, instructions have also been given not to make children sit in the open field under any circumstances for pre-board and practical examinations.

Let us tell you that schools up to class 8 in Lucknow are closed from December 28, 2024. The weather conditions started deteriorating since the beginning of January. Parents and students were waiting for the holidays to go ahead in view of the adverse weather conditions.
