School Holiday: Many states of the country are facing extreme humidity and heat these days. The situation is that people have been advised to stay in their homes as much as possible. Meanwhile, a big news is coming out that the government of Odisha has announced summer holidays in schools. The Odisha government has announced the decision on Sunday in view of the extreme heat conditions in the state. The state government has also issued a notice. According to the government, summer vacation has been announced for school students from April 25.

Schools are closing from this day

The notice said that all schools including government, government aided and private will be closed from April 25. The state government has also announced to run classes in schools from 6:30 am to 10:30 am from April 22 to April 24. Earlier, due to the extreme heat conditions in Odisha, all schools in the state were ordered to be closed for 3 days from April 18 to 20. Please note that this decision was taken after the temperature in the state went above 45 degrees Celsius. By 2:30 pm on Sunday, the maximum temperature reached 43.6 degrees Celsius in Jharsuguda and Keonjhar. At the same time, at 6 other places in the state the maximum temperature was recorded more than 40 degrees Celsius.

These instructions are issued for Delhi also

Here in the capital Delhi too, the heat has shown its wrath. In view of this, Delhi Education Directorate has also issued an important instruction for all the schools. The Directorate said in the instructions issued that during the summer season, the day temperature in Delhi exceeds 40 degrees Celsius, which has a negative impact on the health of children studying in schools. Due to increase in temperature across the state, incidents of fatigue, dehydration, diarrhea, vomiting and other diseases have increased among the people. Such directorate directed all schools not to organize prayer meetings of students in schools. Also provide drinking water to the students. It is very hot so students should be given breaks in between to drink water. At the same time, while coming to school and going home, make students aware about covering their heads with umbrella, cap, towel or anything else when exposed to direct sunlight.
