Summer vacation from April in Bihar/UP
According to the calendar released by Bihar Education Department, this year the summer holidays for students in government schools will be from April 15 to May 15. During this period, all teachers and employees will have to remain present in schools. Parent-teacher meetings will be held during summer vacations and special classes and examinations will also be conducted for students.
Apart from this, special tuition and supplementary examination will be conducted for the students who have failed and remained absent in the annual examination of 2023-24. Children of Mission Daksh will also be included in these. The special education program will run from 1 April 2024 to 25 May 2024. The summer holidays in the schools of UP will be for 41 days. Summer vacation will start from 21st May 2024 and will continue till 30th June 2024.
Summer holidays in Delhi in May June
According to the school calendar 2024 released by the Directorate of School Education, Delhi, this time the summer vacation in Delhi will be from 11 May to 30 June 2024. All teachers will come to school from 28th June. Before this, in the month of March, there will be holidays of Good Friday on 29th March, Eid-ul-Fitr on 11th April, Ram Navami on 17th April and Mahavir Jayanti on 21st April. In the month of May Schools will remain closed on Buddha Purnima on 23 May and Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) on 17 June.
Holiday in Madhya Pradesh from 1st May to 15th June
This year, summer vacation in Madhya Pradesh will start from May 1 and will continue till June 15, 2024. Apart from this, summer holidays for teachers will last from May 1 to May 31, 2024. Summer holidays in west bengal
Summer holidays in West Bengal in the year 2024 will start from 6th May and will continue till 2nd June. This includes a total of 22 days of holidays excluding public holidays and Sundays. Schools will remain closed during this period. Due to which students and teachers will get adequate time to rest.
Summer holidays in Tamil Nadu from April
Students of classes 1 to 9 in Tamil Nadu schools will get at least 10 days of additional summer vacations due to the general elections to be held on April 19, 2024. According to a circular issued by the Directorate of School Education and Primary Education, the holidays for classes 1 to 9 will start from April 13 while teachers will be engaged in election training during this period.
Teachers were asked to evaluate answer sheets, release results and admission to the next academic year from April 23 to 26. The last working day of the academic year will be April 26. “The date of school reopening will be announced later,” the circular said.
