School Holiday: Schools in Bulandshahr district, Uttar Pradesh, will be closed for four consecutive days from November 3rd to November 6th. The District Basic Education Officer has announced these holidays. Including the holidays for the Ganga Snan Mela 2025 and Guru Nanak Jayanti, schools will be closed for a total of four days. An official notification regarding the holidays has also been issued.

Holiday in all private and government schools

According to the official notification, all private and government schools in Bulandshahr will be closed for four days. According to the order, all schools from grades 1 to 8 will remain closed so that students, teachers, and staff can benefit from the festival and the Ganga bath. It’s worth noting that the month of October was full of holidays. Now, November is also starting with a continuous holiday.

Public Holiday on November 5th for Guru Nanak Jayanti

November 5th will be a public holiday across the state and country on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. All government-funded educational institutions, banks, and government offices in Uttar Pradesh will be closed. Sikhs celebrate the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji with great reverence and respect, which is why this day has been declared a public holiday. This year, Guru Nanak Jayanti will be celebrated on November 5th, and a holiday has been declared on that occasion.

Schools from Classes 1 to 8 will be closed.

According to the order, the Basic Education Officer has declared a holiday for all municipal council schools, aided and recognized primary and upper primary schools, as well as private primary schools serving classes 1 to 8. According to the order, these schools will be closed for four consecutive days from November 3rd to 6th, with no teaching activities taking place during this period. Schools will reopen on November 7th at their normal hours.

Five Sundays will be weekly holidays throughout the month.

Schools will be closed on November 25th, followed by Guru Tegh Bahadur Martyrdom Day on November 5th. Additionally, five Sundays will be weekly holidays throughout the month. November 14th will be celebrated as Children’s Day, but schools and colleges will remain open on this day and no holiday has been declared.
