School Holiday: Big relief for school students! School timings changed with summer holidays, schools will remain closed for this number of days

School timings changed in Bihar, summer vacation also declared

In view of the increasing heat in Bihar, the Education Department has issued a letter regarding the timings of government schools. It said that there will be summer vacation in government schools from April 15 to May 15. Special classes will be held in the school premises for the students who do not appear in the annual examination of classes 9th and 11th during the holidays. Its time has been fixed from 8 am to 10 am. During this time, all the teachers will come to the school before 8 am and will leave the school after conducting the special class.

Last week, in Sasaram district of Bihar, the district administration had issued an order informing about changing the time. Under this, studies will be held in school from 8 am to 10 am. Along with this, according to the calendar of Bihar Education Department, there will be summer vacation from 15th April to 15th May, but it will be mandatory for all the teachers including the headmaster to come.

School timings changed in Varanasi also

School timings have also been changed in Varanasi, UP. The Basic Education Department has made changes in the timings of schools from classes one to eight. From April 10, all council, CBSE, UP Board, ICSE and recognized and aided schools in the district will operate from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. This arrangement will remain in force till the start of summer vacation. Let us tell you that this time the summer holidays in the schools of UP will be for 41 days. Summer vacation will start from 21st May 2024 and will continue till 30th June 2024.

School timings changed in Kashmir also

School timings have also been changed in Kashmir. The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Monday changed the school timings for Kashmir division from April 12. Under this, the timings of schools falling under Srinagar Municipality limits will be from 9 am to 3 pm. It has been said that the timings of schools outside Srinagar Municipality limits and other districts of Kashmir division will be from 10 am to 4 pm.

Summer holidays in west bengal

Summer holidays in West Bengal in the year 2024 will start from 6th May and will continue till 2nd June. This includes a total of 22 days of holidays excluding public holidays and Sundays. Schools will remain closed during this period. Due to which students and teachers will get adequate time to rest.

Educational institutions in Cooch Behar, Alipurduar and Jalpaiguri districts will remain closed from April 16 to April 20. Similarly, schools in districts like Darjeeling, Kalimpong, North Dinajpur and South Dinajpur will remain closed from April 24 to April 27. All academic activities will remain suspended during these scheduled periods.
