Holidays have started in all government and government aided schools of Maharashtra, Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Puducherry and Tripura from the month of April, whereas now summer holidays in Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat are starting from May. Summer vacations for students in Madhya Pradesh have started today from May 1, which will continue till June 15. Now schools will open on June 16. For teachers it will be from 1st May to 31st May.
Summer vacation in all primary, secondary and higher secondary schools of Gujarat will be from May 9 to June 12. This time there will be a summer vacation of 35 days. The new academic year 2024-25 will start from June 13.

Holidays declared in AMU from May to July
Summer vacation has also been announced in Aligarh Muslim University. Under this, there will be summer holidays from June 16 to July 30 in AMU and its related institutions and Malappuram, Murshidabad and Kishanganj centres.
There will be a holiday in AMU related schools from June 16 to July 15, in the Faculty of Medicine from May 18 to June 23 and from June 25 to July 31, and MBBS students will have a holiday from June 14 to June 23.
The holiday for BDS first year, second year and third year students will be from 1st June to 20th June, the holiday for BDS final year students will be from 21st June to 30th June, the holiday for students in paramedical courses will be from 21st June to 10th July.
In Nursing College, the first slot in the Faculty of Unani Medicine will be from 27th June to 6th July, in the Faculty of Unani Medicine, the first slot will be from 3rd June to 6th July and from 8th July to 9th August and the students’ holiday will be from 3rd June to 20th June.
