School Holiday 2025: There is relief news for the school students of Uttar Pradesh. In view of the crowd of devotees returning from Prayagraj Mahakumbh, the Varanasi district administration has ordered to keep all schools up to class eight closed till February 8, although online classes of these classes will run.
Basic Education Officer Dr. Arvind Kumar Pathak said that online classes of students of all council, government, aided, English, Hindi medium, CBSE, ICSE board schools will run till February 8. All schools will have to follow this instruction. If any school is found open, action will be taken to cancel the recognition by issuing a notice. The examinations of Kashi Vidyapeeth have been postponed till February 15.
Schools also closed in these states
The Punjab government has declared a public holiday in the entire state on Wednesday, February 12, due to the Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji. Holiday has been declared in government schools and non-government, educational institutions, offices on this day.
According to the holiday table declared by the UP Basic Education Council, schools will also remain closed on February 12 and 26. There will be a public holiday on February 12 due to Sant Ravidas Jayanti. Schools run by the Basic Education Council will remain closed in recognized basic schools. All basic and primary schools will remain closed on Wednesday, 26 February 2025. This order has been issued for schools from class 1 to class 8.
Here, in Jammu and Kashmir, all schools up to class 5 are closed from 10 December 2024 and will remain closed till 28 February 2025. Schools from class 6 to 12 are closed from 16 December 2024 and will remain closed till 28 February 2025, so now the schools will open only in March.
