School Holidays: Good news! Schools will remain closed again for so many consecutive days, instructions issued

School Holiday 2024:There is good news for school students. Schools will remain closed for 4 consecutive days in the next week due to many festivals including Diwali. In November, there will be holidays in schools of many states due to Govardhan Puja, second and fourth Saturdays, Guru Nanak Jayanti and weekly holidays.

School Holiday 2024: There is good news for school students. Due to continuous festivals, bumper holidays are going to be available in the end of October and the beginning of November. The special thing is that apart from Diwali Dhanteras, schools are going to remain closed for many days in November along with weekly holidays.

Schools are closed today on 27 October due to Sunday. Schools will remain closed on 31 October and 1 November due to Diwali. At the same time, Vishwakarma Day / Govardhan Puja on 2 November, second Saturday on 09 November, Guru Nanak Jayanti on 15 November will also be a holiday in schools of many states.

Know when and in which states schools will remain closed

In Uttar Pradesh, schools will remain closed due to Diwali on October 31, Govardhan Puja on November 2 and Bhai Dooj on November 3. After this, there will be a holiday in the schools on Guru Nanak Jayanti on November 15, Guru Teg Bahadur Jayanti on November 24.

All government and private schools in Madhya Pradesh will have 5 days holiday. 5 days holiday has been declared in MP Board and CBSE Board schools from October 30 to November 3.

In Bihar, schools will remain closed due to Dhanteras on October 29, Narak Chaudas on October 30, Diwali or Lakshmi Puja on October 31, Govardhan Puja on November 1 and Bhai Dooj on November 2. Keeping in mind Chhath Puja 2024, the Bihar government has ordered to keep the schools closed from November 6 to November 9.

In Jharkhand, there will be a holiday in government schools due to Dhanteras on October 29, Narak Chaudas on October 30, Diwali or Lakshmi Puja on October 31, Govardhan Puja on November 1, Bhai Dooj on November 2 and Chhath on November 6.

In Chhattisgarh, schools will remain closed from October 28 to November 2, apart from October 27 and November 3. In Rajasthan, students will get a total of 4 days off from October 31 to November 3. There will also be a holiday in Delhi from October 30 to November 3.

According to the notice of the Directorate of School Education Jammu, schools will remain closed for all classes up to higher secondary level in Jammu division from October 29 to November 2, 2024. Schools will reopen on November 4, 2024 after the Puja holiday.
