Scrotal ultrasound is a type of imaging test seen in the scrotum (scrotum). The scrotum is the sac located below the penis of men. It contains testicles or testicles, which are an essential part of the reproductive system of men.
The testicle is the male reproductive organ that produces sperm and the hormone testosterone. They are located in the scrotum, along with other small organs, blood vessels, and a small tube called vas deferens. More Read: Parineeti Chopra eats papaya daily, know why you should also consume it
How is the test done?
You open your legs and lie on your back. The doctor wraps a cloth over your thighs under the scrotum or applies a wide bandage tape to that area. The scrotum will then be lifted slightly along with the scrotum.
A clear gel is applied to the scrotum to help transmit the sound waves. An arm is an ultrasound transducer that is carried on the scrotum by a technologist. The ultrasound machine delivers high speed sound waves. Then these waves, ie, waves, take a photo of the testicle area. More Read:
