New Delhi: Shweta Tiwari made her OTT debut a few years ago with the web series ‘Hum Tum Aur Them’. This series can be seen on OTT platform G5 and Alt Balaji. In the series, the intimate scene between Shweta and Akshay Oberoi caught the attention of most people. This was the first time the actress was shooting such an intimate scene. She was not comfortable before and after shooting romantic scenes, yet she gave such scenes.
Shweta Tiwari felt that she had made a mistake by shooting an intimate scene, she used to get so nervous after shooting the scene that she used to lock herself in the vanity van and cry. The ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’ fame actress wrote on Instagram about the scene, ‘I feel honored to be a part of this series, not only because of the unique story, but it helped me to get out of my comfort zone. . I got my hair cut short, shot intimate scenes. I used to think that I do not have the courage to do this. I cried and panicked every day.
Shweta Tiwari was scared to see her own intimate scene
When Shweta Tiwari was asked what was daughter Palak’s reaction regarding the intimate scene, the actress told Pinkvilla, ‘I was very scared. After the promo released, I was nervous. I called the creative team and asked – what is this? I didn’t like the trailer. I don’t know how I will show this to my mother, friends and family. After this, I sent the trailer to my daughter and asked her to give her honest opinion. She said- wow maa, it is very nice and wonderful.’
When Shweta Tiwari apologized for her behavior
Shweta Tiwari called the creative team associated with the series after knowing her daughter’s opinion and apologized for shouting at them. The actress had revealed that when the script of the web series came to her, she told her daughter Palak. Palak was inspired to work in the series at the behest of her daughter. Palak explained to her mother that there is nothing wrong in kissing onscreen. Let us inform that ‘Hum Tum and Them’ started streaming on 6 December 2019.
