Smart locker facility: Passengers travelling on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Namo Bharat Corridor no longer need to worry about the safety of their luggage during their journey. NCRTC has started the facility of smart lockers at Sahibabad and Ghaziabad stations, which passengers can rent on hourly basis at a very low fee.
Along with keeping luggage in the locker, you can also order e-commerce parcels
This facility not only allows passengers to keep their luggage safe, but passengers can also order their e-commerce parcels directly in these lockers.
How to book?
Passengers will have to book a locker by entering their details on the digital screen available at the station. Lockers are available in small, medium, large and extra-large sizes, which can be booked for 1 to 6 hours.
Rent and Charges
Small locker: ₹20 per hour
Medium locker: ₹30 per hour
Large/Extra Large locker: ₹40 per hour
Booking will be available through app soon
This facility will soon be available on ‘Namo Bharat Connect’ app, where locker booking can be done through ‘Rent a Locker’ option.
Facility will be available at other stations soon
As per the plan of NCRTC, this facility will soon be started at DPS Rajnagar, Guldhar, Duhai, Muradnagar, Modi Nagar and other stations of Meerut.
Passengers will get relief
The journey from Delhi to Meerut will now be more comfortable as passengers will be able to enjoy the journey by keeping their luggage in the smart locker without worrying about heavy luggage.
