The country’s big IT company HCL Technologies on Monday announced a special bonus of more than 700 crore rupees outright to its employees on the occasion of earning income of US $ 10 billion (about Rs 72,800 crore). HCL Tech said in a statement that special bonuses will be paid to employees in February 2021 and its impact is not included in the EBIT (interest and pre-tax income) forecasts for FY 2020-21 as outlined by the company last month.
HCL Technologies said that it is issuing a one-time special bonus to its employees across the world on the occasion of crossing the income level of US $ 10 billion in 2020, totaling more than Rs 700 crore.
Bonus will be equal to 10 days salary
On this joyous occasion, all employees with one year or more service will get a bonus equal to ten days’ salary, the statement said. HCL Tech profits up 31 percent
HCL Tech reported a 31 per cent jump in profits during the third quarter. The company’s net profit increased to Rs 3,982 crore in the third quarter. This has been a tremendous profit for the company due to the increase in the business of digital, product and platform segments.
The company will hire 20 thousand in six months
The company will recruit around 20,000 people in the next six months. HCL Tech President and CEO C Vijayakumar said, demand is expected to pick up due to strong growth in signature and digital services adoption on deals. To fulfill this demand, 20,000 recruitments will be made in the next four-six months.
