Special Train Timing: Good news for those going to Bihar on Diwali and Chhath, special trains are running from Delhi, see time table

Diwali Chhath Puja Special Train: Indian Railways has announced 12 station trains for Diwali and Chhath Puja. Have to book. All the seats will be of reserved category. In these, the passengers traveling will have to follow all the rules of Kovid-19 issued by the Railways.

Diwali Chhath Puja Special Train: The festivals of both Diwali and Chhath Puja are very near. In such a situation, a huge crowd of passengers can be seen during the worship. In view of this, Festival Special Trains will be operated from New Delhi/Anand Vihar Terminus for Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Barauni, Saharsa and Jaynagar stations of East Central Railway from New Delhi/Anand Vihar Terminus. The coaches in all these special trains will be of reserved category. Also, the passengers traveling in these will have to follow all the rules of Kovid-19 issued by the Railways.




List of trains known in different districts of Bihar

Train No. 01676/01675 Anand Vihar – Muzaffarpur – Anand Vihar Terminal Festival Special Express (Two days a week) Festival Special Train will be operated two days a week from 11 October to 17 November 2021 between Anand Vihar Terminal and Muzaffarpur.

Anand Vihar-Muzaffarpur Festival Special Express

Train No. 01676 Anand Vihar – Muzaffarpur Festival Special Express will depart from Anand Vihar at 22.50 hrs on every Monday and Wednesday from 11 October to 17 November 2021 and will arrive Muzaffarpur at 22.00 hrs, the next day. In return, Train No. 01675 Muzaffarpur – Anand Vihar Festival Special train will depart Muzaffarpur at 23.45 hrs on every Tuesday and Thursday from 12 October to 18 November 2021 and will reach Anand Vihar at 23.30 hrs the next day.

Muzaffarpur and Anand Vihar Terminal

This special train will stop at Hajipur, Chhapra, Gorakhpur, Barabanki, Lucknow, Chandausi and Moradabad stations in up and down direction between Muzaffarpur and Anand Vihar Terminal. In this special train, there will be a total of 20 coaches including 09 coaches of sleeper category, 09 of coach class and 02 coaches of SLR.

New Delhi-Darbhanga-New Delhi Festival Special Express

Train No. 01670/01669 New Delhi-Darbhanga-New Delhi Festival Special Express (Two days a week)- Festival Special Train will be operated between New Delhi and Darbhanga two days a week from 11 October to 18 November 2021.

Delhi-Darbhanga Festival Special Express

Train No. 01670 New Delhi – Darbhanga Festival Special Express will leave New Delhi at 19.25 hrs on Monday and Thursday, 2 days a week from 11 October to 18 November and will reach Darbhanga at 16.00 hrs the next day. In return, Train No. 01669 Darbhanga – New Delhi Festival Special date will leave Darbhanga at 18.00 hrs on Tuesday and Friday twice a week from 12 October to 19 November and will reach New Delhi at 16.40 hrs the next day. This special train will stop at Sitamarhi, Raxaul, Narkatiaganj, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Bareilly and Moradabad stations in up and down direction between Darbhanga and New Delhi. In this special train, there will be a total of 20 coaches including 09 sleeper category, 09 coat class and 02 SLR coach.

New Delhi-Barauni-New Delhi Superfast Festival Special Express

Train No. 01638/01637 New Delhi-Barauni-New Delhi Superfast Festival Special Express (Two days a week) – Superfast Festival Special Train will be operated twice a week from 12 October to November between New Delhi and Barauni.

New Delhi-Barauni Superfast Festival Special Express

Train No. 01638 New Delhi – Barauni Superfast Festival Special Express will leave New Delhi at 19.25 hrs on Tuesdays and Fridays twice a week from 12 October to 19 November and will reach Barauni at 16.00 hrs the next day. In return, Train No. 01637 Barauni – New Delhi Superfast Festival Special Train will leave Barauni at 19.30 hrs on Wednesday and Saturday, 2 days a week from 13 October to 20 November and will reach New Delhi at 16.40 hrs the next day.

Special train between Barauni and New Delhi

This special train will stop at Hajipur, Chhapra, Siwan, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Bareilly and Moradabad stations in up and down direction between Barauni and New Delhi. In this special train, there will be a total of 20 coaches including 09 sleeper class, 09 coach class and 02 SLR coaches.

Anand Vihar Terminal-Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminal

Train No. 01662/01661 Anand Vihar Terminal-Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminal Festival Special Express (Two days a week)- Festival Special Train will be operated two days a week from 11 October to 19 November between Anand Vihar Terminal and Saharsa.

Vihar-Saharsa Festival Special Express

Train No. 01662 Anand Vihar – Saharsa Festival Special Express will leave Anand Vihar at 11.10 hrs on Monday and Thursday and will reach Saharsa at 11.30 hrs the next day, twice a week from October 11 to November 18. In return, Train No. 01661 Saharsa-Anand Vihar Festival Special Train will leave Saharsa at 14.30 hrs on Tuesday and Friday twice a week from 12 October to 19 November and will reach Anand Vihar at 13.55 hrs the next day.

Saharsa and Anand Vihar

This special train will run between Saharsa and Anand Vihar in Up and Down direction at Simri Bakhtiyarpur, Khagaria, Begusarai, Barauni, Dalsinghsarai, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Chhapra, Siwan, Deoria Sadar, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Hardoi, Bareilly, Moradabad and Hapur stations. But will stop. In this special train, there will be a total of 20 coaches including 09 coaches of Sleeper class, 09 of general class and 02 coaches of SLR.

Jayanagar-Anand Vihar Terminal

Train No. 01668/01667 Anand Vihar Terminal – Jaynagar – Anand Vihar Terminal Festival Special Express (Twice a week) – Festival special train will be operated twice a week between Anand Vihar and Jaynagar from 12.10.2021 to 20.11.2021.




Anand Vihar-Jayanagar

Train No. 01668 Anand Vihar – Jaynagar Festival Special Express will leave Anand Vihar at 10.30 hrs on Tuesday and Friday, 2 days a week from 12 October to 19 November and will reach Jaynagar at 13.35 hrs the next day. In return, Train No. 01667 Jaynagar-Anand Vihar Festival Special Train. From 13 October to 20 November, it will leave Jaynagar at 15.30 hrs on Wednesday and Saturday and reach Anand Vihar at 19.00 hrs the next day.

Special Train between Jaynagar and Anand Vihar

This special train will run between Jaynagar and Anand Vihar in Up and Down direction at Madhubani, Darbhanga, Barauni, Mokama, Bakhtiyarpur, Patna, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Varanasi, Sultanpur, Lucknow, Bareilly and Moradabad stations. But will stop. In this special train, there will be a total of 20 coaches including 09 coaches of Sleeper class and 02 coaches of SLR.
