Starlink’s satellite internet service is expected to launch in India with a one-time setup fee of approximately ₹30,000. Additionally, monthly plans could range from ₹3,000 to ₹6,000 per month. Speeds are expected to range from 25 Mbps to 225 Mbps. The 25 Mbps plan will be the base plan, available for approximately ₹3,300.
Starlink Launch Date, Maximum Connections, and Availability
Currently, Starlink has begun setting up its network in the country, but is awaiting some approvals. It is expected to launch its service in the country by the end of the first quarter of 2026.
Regarding connection limits, the Indian government has only allowed Starlink to have 20 million connections in the country. It is not yet clear how many of these will be commercial and how many personal connections.
