Sukanya Samriddhi, RD and PPF account of post office can deposit money online, know step by step process

New Delhi,  India Post pays higher interest on many types of FDs and other savings schemes than many major banks. Also, investment in almost all its savings schemes is exempt under Section 80 (c) of the Income Tax Act. This is the reason why people invest largely in post office savings schemes. The Department of Posts offers nine types of savings schemes including Reckering Deposit (RD), Public Provident Fund (PPF), Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana.

After investing in these post office schemes, you do not have to go to the branch every time to submit an installment. You only need to visit the post office once to invest in these schemes. After this, you can manage everything online. This has been made possible with the help of India Post Payment Banks.
