After the extension of Maharashtra lockdown, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s producer Asit Kumarr Modi has decided to go out of Mumbai to shoot for the show. To entertain the fans with fresh episodes of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the cast and crew have reached a resort near Vapi in Gujarat.TAARAK MEHTA KA OOLTAH CHASHMAH SHOOT RESUMES AT A RESORT NEAR VAPI
In an exclusive chat with Saas, Bahu Aur Betiyaan, Asit Kumarr Modi said, “There’s a resort near Vapi where we have created a bio bubble to shoot for our show. We are all taking full care of our safety. We are not venturing out because we have brought most of the things with us and have come fully prepared. Even if an artiste or a team member comes from Mumbai, he takes an RT-PCR test.”

He further added, “We have kept minimum crew here and actors are also supporting us a lot. Small tasks are being done by themselves. We are facing a few difficulties but it’s my duty to take care of everyone. So, I am also living here with everyone while my family is in Mumbai because Taarak Mehta’s team is no less than my family. We’ve been together for 13 years and I have to take care of this family of mine. I was in two minds about going out and shooting but my team encouraged me. And, I also need to take care of the daily-wage workers.”
Asit Modi believes that laughing and sharing happiness is also very important in this difficult time. He said, “People want to watch Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in these difficult times. We have taken the responsibility to make people laugh and laughter is the best medicine. Since God has given me this responsibility, I gathered my strength and have started shooting at the resort. Entertainment should never stop and that is what we are trying to do.”
TV shows like Kundali Bhagya, Kumkum Bhagya, Anupamaa have shifted to Goa, while Imlie cast is shooting in Hyederabad and Humari Wali Good News team is in Manesar.
