Orders have been given to release the outstanding salaries with restrictions. Not only this, the services of teachers who are not appointed as per rules on such posts will be terminated.

Salaries of 1100 teachers posted in Secondary Aided Colleges were stopped 17 months ago. The teacher had asked officials at the district and divisional level to discuss the matter and find a solution. However, when no solution was found, after making rounds of the government and the directorate, a solicitation program of the directorate was started by the employees.

Now citing the order of the Supreme Court, Additional Chief Secretary of Secondary Education Deepak Kumar has directed the Director of Secondary Education to pay the outstanding salary of 17 months. The Additional Chief Secretary said that payment of outstanding salaries is approved to those ad-hoc teachers whose salaries were affected or stopped as per the order of the Supreme Court dated August 26, 2020. By this stage their services need to be certified and verified.

Teachers falling within this scope, who have died while in service. His successor has also been asked to pay the dues for the period of teaching of the deceased teacher. Instructions were given to complete the process as per rules and pay the outstanding salary within 30 days. The service of teachers who are not appointed as per rules will be terminated. 500 teachers will be affected by this.
