These rules related to mobile sim have changed, it is important for you to know

In the meeting of the Union Cabinet led by PM Modi, a big decision has been taken recently regarding matters related to mobile users. The process of taking mobile connection or converting it from pre-paid to postpaid and postpaid to pre-paid has been made easy by the government.

Also, you will be able to do all the work related to KYC sitting at home through online mode. After the decision of the central government, to get a new mobile number, KYC will have to be filled through digital mode. Also, no form will have to be filled for changing SIM connection or getting SIM port.

Complete work will be done in just 1 rupee

The government has clarified that users themselves will be able to fill KYC through online mode. This whole process will be app based. Users will have to pay only Re 1 charge for online ie e-KYC. Whereas for converting from pre-paid to post-paid and post-paid to pre-paid, new KYC will not be required. Let us tell you that till now if a customer used to convert his prepaid number to postpaid or postpaid to prepaid, then he had to complete the KYC process every time. However, KYC has to be filed only once.

How to fill KYC

Every time during the process of porting from filling a new form on behalf of telecom companies, a photo and sign were required as documents ranging from Aadhar card or driving license. After this, the digital KYC process was done by the telecom companies. During this many times wrong documents were uploaded. Also, many times telecom companies used to ask for some documents from customers for KYC. For which customers have to visit telecom agencies or franchisees. But now you can do self KYC sitting at home.
