People are being encouraged to get vaccinated amidst the rapid spread of the second wave of Kovid-19 in the country. For this, governments are offering different offers from local bodies to banks so that people come forward to get the vaccine. Now, in a first of its kind scheme, Central Bank of India has offered people that if they get the vaccine, they will be given 25 Bps i.e. 0.25% more interest in fixed deposit rates. The bank has said that this special interest rate will also be available to those who have just been given the first dose of the vaccine. The bank has named this scheme Immune India Deposit Scheme. The special thing about this scheme is that senior citizens will get 25Bps more interest over the interest they get on FD.
