New Delhi: If You Withdraw Most Of Your Money From The Bank Through ATMs And Checks, Then It Is Very Important For You To Know This News, Because The Country’s Top Lender State Bank Of India (SBI) Has Made The Basic Savings Bank Deposit (BSBD) Account Holders. The Service Fee Has Been Revised. The New Charges Will Apply To ATM Withdrawals, Checkbooks, Transfers And Other Non-Financial Transactions.




SBI Has Mentioned On Its Website That The New Service Charges Will Be Applicable From 1 July 2021.

The Bank Will Charge A Further Fee From The Four Free Cash Withdrawal Transactions. This Includes Transactions Carried Out At A Branch As Well As Bank ATMs. The New Fee Is Rs 15 Plus GST Per Cash Withdrawal Transaction At Branch Channel / ATM.

Cash Withdrawal From Sbi Atm
According To The SBI Website, More Than 4 Free Cash Withdrawal Transactions (Including ATM And Branch) Will Be Charged. The Service Charge Over The Limit Will Be Rs 15 Plus GST On All SBI And Non-SBI ATMs.

Checkbook Fee
SBI Basic Savings Bank Will Provide 10 Check Leaves Free Of Cost To The Bank Account Holders In A Financial Year.
After This:
A) 10-Page Check Book At ₹ 40 Plus GST
B) 25-Page Check Book At ₹ 75 And

Senior Citizens At GST Are Exempted From The New Service Fee On The Check Book.

Non-Financial Transactions Non-Financial Transactions
By Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account Holders At SBI And Non-SBI Bank Branches Will Not Be Levied.

Transfer Transactions
Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account Holders Will Also Be Free To Transfer Transactions On Branch And Alternative Channels.

What Is SBI Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account?
SBI Basic Savings Bank Deposit Account, Popularly Known As Zero Balance Savings Account. Mainly For The Poorer Sections Of The Society To Encourage Them To Start Saving At No Charge Or No Charge. The Bank Offers Interest Rates On Zero Balance Accounts Just Like Regular Savings Bank Accounts.

A Basic RuPay ATM-Cum-Debit Card For SBI Zero Balance Savings Account Will Be Issued Free Of Charge And No Annual Maintenance Charges Will Be Levied. The Bank Does Not Charge Any Fee When Inactive Accounts Are Active. No Account Closure Fees Are Also Charged.
