Ram Navami is considered an important festival of the people of Hindu religion. The day is celebrated on the ninth day in the month of Chaitra, which is the first month in the Hindu lunar calendar. According to the official holiday calendar of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), all public and private sector banks will remain closed on Thursday, March 30, in some states on account of Ram Navami. Tomorrow’s holiday will be depending on the state and bank holidays can be different days.

Banks will remain closed tomorrow in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Hyderabad-Telangana, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Ranchi, Shimla. RBI releases the list of bank holidays on its official website- https://www.rbi.org.in/. The central bank categorises holidays into three categories – holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act, real-time gross settlement holidays and bank closures. Due to holidays, bank customers will not be able to withdraw and deposit money from the bank branch. However, customers may note that ATM, mobile banking and online banking services will continue to be available these days.

Banks in many cities across India will remain closed on account of Ram Navami. In this list, banks are going to remain closed in many other cities including Agartala, Aizawl, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), Imphal, Jammu, Kochi, Kolkata, New Delhi. In Panaji, Raipur, Shillong, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram will remain open tomorrow i.e. 30 March 2023.
