In the Lok Sabha, Nitin Gadkari said that all toll plazas from the country will be abolished in the next one year. However, this will not mean that toll will not have to be paid. Now GPS system will be installed in trains, with the help of which toll charges can be paid.
On Thursday, Nitin Gadkari said that during the previous governments, tolls were created in many places within urban areas which is wrong and unjust. The work of removing them will be completed in a year. During the Question Hour in Lok Sabha, members of the House Gurjit Aujla, Deepak Badge and Kunwar Danish Ali gave this information on their behalf in response to supplementary questions.
