Such bikes are recognizable from a distance. In many traffic rules, the challan has been increased to Rs 25 thousand. Besides, there is also a provision for cancellation of driving license and punishment. In such a situation, if you have also done any kind of modification in your bike, then you need to be cautious. Or it can be said that remove that modification immediately. Here we are telling 3 conditions of modification. Due to which you may be charged a heavy challan.
1. Challan for modifying two-wheeler
If you have done modification in your two-wheeler i.e. bike or scooter, then you need to be careful. Police is seizing modified bikes and issuing challan. Under the new traffic rules, any modification done to any vehicle is illegal. You may be fined for this. The bike can also be seized.
2. Invoice on modified silencer
Many people also modify the silencer of their bike. There has been a lot of craze for the silencer used by Royal Enfield Bullet. People install a silencer in the bike which makes loud noise or releases firecrackers from it. If you use such a silencer, the traffic police will catch you and challan you. These silencers are counted as noise pollution.
3. Challan on fancy number plate
According to the Motor Vehicles Act, it is illegal to use fancy number plates in vehicles. The government has fixed a style sheet for number plates. Under this, all the digits on the number plate should be clearly visible and not written in a fancy manner. Always use number plate certified by RTO. Many people use distorted words on number plates.
