To avail the benefit of this rule, you will have to cancel your ticket through IRCTC website or mobile app. You can also cancel your ticket from the counter of any railway station, but you will have to pay a fee.
If you cancel your ticket after 4 hours of your journey, you will have to pay a fee. Fees vary depending on the time of cancellation.
