Local Trains Canceled for 15 days: Track repair work on Bandel-Katwa route is going to start from tomorrow Friday. In this situation, many trains will be canceled on this route for the next 15 days from June 9. Yesterday, Wednesday, a notification in this regard was issued by the railways. It also published the list of canceled trains.
Railway has informed that track repair work will continue on Bandel-Katwa route from June 9 to June 28. Due to this, many trains on this route have been canceled for the next 15 days. According to the Railways, line repair work will be done on the down line between Patuli and Katwa stations.
37749 Bandel-Katwa local, 37748 Katwa-Bandel local, 37924 Katwa-Howrah local will be canceled from 9th to 28th June due to repair of 2/5 line. Railway said, instead of 37924 Katwa-Howrah local, 37917 Howrah-Katwa local train will go to Navadwip Dham station this 15 days. Later it will start its return journey to Howrah from Navadwip Dham station.
Meanwhile, Coo trains will not be canceled on Thursdays and Sundays falling between June 9 to 28. Trains will run on those days as per the fixed schedule. That is, on June 15, June 18, June 22 and June 25, all trains will run on the Bandel-Katwa route. Later, the train service of this route will be normal again from 29th.
