UAE has temporarily banned the issuance of tourist and work visas for citizens of 9 countries of Africa and Asia. The special thing is that two neighboring countries of India are also included in this list. This rule has been implemented with immediate effect.

According to the news published in BT Business Today, UAE has taken this decision due to concerns related to defense, health and migration. As such, citizens of these countries will no longer be able to apply for visas.

Restrictions on citizens of these countries

Citizens from Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Sudan, and Uganda are barred from applying for UAE tourist visas or work permits. This ban will remain in effect until further notice. No timeframe has been announced for review or revocation. However, this ban does not apply to those who have already received visas. Such individuals can legally reside and work in the country.
