UAE weather: UAE residents can expect some light rain over the far north on Monday, January 5, as per the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) weather forecast.
Overall, skies are fair to partly cloudy, while low clouds will form over some eastern and northern areas. Temperatures will drop especially westward, the NCM stated. A low of 16°C is expected in the Capital Abu Dhabi, and 18°C in Dubai. Mercury will rise to 25°C in Abu Dhabi and 26°C in Dubai.
Expect humidity to rise by night and Tuesday morning over some internal and coastal western areas, with a chance of fog or mist formation. Winds will be light to moderate northwesterly to northeasterly, freshening at times, with a speed of 10–25, reaching 40 kmph.
The sea will be rough to moderate at times in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
The weather authority has warned residents of unsettled weather conditions nationwide starting Monday through January 8, affecting various regions.
Conditions will range from dusty weather to partly cloudy skies, with chances of fog or light fog forming at times, noticeable wind activity —particularly at sea — and the possibility of light rainfall at intermittent periods.
