UGC NET June 2024 Exam: Big news has come on UGC NET Exam 2024. Two major changes have been made in NET Exam. Both these changes are being implemented from this time’s June 2024 UGC NET exam. University Grants Commission Chairman M. Jagadish Kumar himself has given information about this. He also informed that UGC NET 2024 application form will be released on 20th April on ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The two changes that UGC is going to implement in NET exam from June 2024 are in favor of both the candidates. This can serve as good news for you. Know what Mamidala Jagdesh Kumar, UGC Chairman has told.
UGC NET: What will be new in UGC NET June 2024?
First change: Candidates who are pursuing four years graduation or 8 semesters UG course, and are studying in their final year or final semester, will also be considered eligible for UGC NET 2024 June exam. That means such candidates can also apply for June 2024 NET exam.
Second change: Candidates who are doing 4 year graduation will be given the option to appear in NET exam in any subject. That is, there will be no compulsion for them to appear in NET exam only in the subject in which they have done graduation. However, the candidate will have to choose the subject in which he wants to pursue PhD from among the NET Exam Subjects.
What is new in UGC-NET June 2024 session? The candidates who are pursuing Four Year/8 Semester Bachelor’s Degree Programme and are in their last semester/year may also apply for the UGC-NET. The candidates with a Four-Year Bachelor’s Degree Programme are allowed to appear (1/2)

Note that the application form for UGC NET June Exam 2024 is being made available on the UGC NET Official Website from today, April 20. You can apply online at ugcnet.nta.nic.in by reading the UGC NET 2024 Information Bulletin. Before filling the NET form, you will have to complete the registration process. The examination will be taken in online mode.
