UGC NET Exam Date 2024: NTA announces new exam date for UGC NET, know full details

NTA Exam Detail: National Testing Agency i.e. NTA has announced the new dates for the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) 2024 June session exam.

UGC NET Exam 2024: New dates have been announced for the UGC-NET exam. This exam was canceled a day after it was held on June 18. Now it will be held between August 21 and September 4. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced on Friday (June 28). This announcement has been made a week after the exam was canceled after the paper was leaked on the darknet.

According to the new dates of UGC NET new exam by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the UGC NET June 2024 exam will be conducted between 21 August 2024 to 04 September 2024. All the exams will be computer based exams. NCET 2024 exam will be held on July 10. Joint CSIR UGC NET will be conducted from July 25 to 27. At the same time, the All India Ayush Postgraduate Entrance Examination (AIAPGET) 2024 will be held on July 6 as previously scheduled.

What did the agency say?

The National Examination Agency said that the National Common Entrance Test (NCET), which was earlier postponed, will now be held on July 10. The joint CSIR-UGC NET exam will be held from July 25-27. The agency said that the UGC-NET exam will be held afresh from August 21 to September 4. This exam was held on June 18, but it was canceled a day later.

Protests are being held on the paper leak case

At the same time, the indefinite sit-in protest being held by the students at Jantar Mantar in Delhi against the alleged irregularities in the paper continued for the third day on Friday. Various groups, including the left-backed student organization All India Student Association (AISA) and the Revolutionary Youth Organization (KYS) of Delhi University, gathered at Jantar Mantar and protested against the alleged rigging in the examinations conducted by the National Examination Agency (NTA). The students protesting under the banner of ‘India Against NTA’ are demanding various demands including dissolution of the National Testing Agency and resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
