But now UIDAI is working on getting all the work done from the users’ smartphones, so that the users’ smartphones can be used as Universal Authenticator.

UIDAI says that they are working on Universal Authentication. He hopes that soon the smartphone will be developed towards Universe Authentication. That is, now users will be able to verify their Aadhaar card from their smartphone virtually while sitting at home. Now no one will have to make rounds of offices and any other institution to take advantage of government facility.

Authenticator to become 800 million smartphones
