UIDAI has stopped the facility of updating Aadhaar through Address Validation Letter till further orders. Tenants or other Aadhar card holders could easily update their address through this. UIDAI has also removed the option related to Address Validation Letter from its website.


UIDAI told the media about this that you can use any other method for updation. You can update your address through any one address proof from this list of other valid address proofs (https://uidai.gov.in/images/commdoc/valid_documents_list.pdf).
