UP Board 10th and 12th students passing formula ready see how know, how marks will be awarded

For Intermediate, 50% marks of high school, 40% of class 11 and 10% of class 12th pre board will be taken. Whereas for high school, 50% of class 9 will be taken 50% marks of class 10 pre board.



Mayur Shukla/Lucknow: The formula for passing the students of UP Board High School and Intermediate has been issued. Under which 50% marks of high school, 40% of class 11 and 10% of class 12th pre board will be taken for intermediate. Whereas for high school, 50% of class 9 will be taken 50% marks of class 10 pre board. Let us tell you that a total of 29,94,312 candidates have been registered in the high school examination. Whereas a total of 26,10,316 candidates have registered in the intermediate examination.

the marks of 12th result maths annual / half yearly examination, class-12 pre-board examination and practical subjects are available. On the basis of these marks, the formula for determining the marks of the candidates of the intermediate examination of the year 2021 is as follows.

Non-practical subjects (ie subjects in which there are no practical examinations) carrying 100 marks.

1. 50% of the average of the total marks obtained in class 10 board examination. Calculation of Average The total score of all the subjects of class-10 will be calculated by dividing the total number of subjects i.e. by 6.

2. In the annual examination of class-11, 40 percent marks of the concerned subject in the whole of 100 marks.

3. In the pre-board examination of class-12, 10 percent marks in the aggregate of 100 marks of the particular subject.

Subject wise marks of the concerned candidate will be determined by adding all the three marks obtained after the calculation as above.

In this way,

if the candidate has obtained 300 marks out of 600 in the annual written examination of class 10th. Then his average marks will be 300/6=50 marks. Out of this, 25 marks will be given to him according to 50 percent liability. If he has got 60 marks out of 100 marks in a particular subject in class-11. Then his 40 percentile will be 24 marks. Similarly, if he has got 50 marks in that subject in class-12 from preboard examination, then his 10 percent will be 5 marks. Thus his total marks will be 25+24+5=54 marks.

High School Result 

High School Examination consists of a written examination of 70 marks and an internal assessment examination of 30 marks for a total of 100 marks. The marks of the internal assessment examination for the year 2021, the written examination of 70 marks of class-9 annual examination and the marks of written pre-board examination of 70 marks of class-10 are uploaded on the website of the board. On the basis of which the formula for determining the marks of the examinees of the high school examination of the year 2021 is as follows.

1. 50% marks in the annual subject wise written examination of class 9 for 70 marks.

2. 50 percent marks of the pre-board subject wise written examination of 70 marks of class-10.

3. The marks of the internal assessment examination of 30 marks conducted at the school level in the year 2021

by adding the three marks obtained after the calculation as above, the subject-wise marks of the concerned candidate. will be determined.

In this way,

if the candidate has got 60 marks out of 70 marks in the annual written examination of class 9. Then according to 50 percent, his 30 marks will be taken. Got 40 marks out of 70 marks in class 10th pre-board written exam. Then his 20 marks will be taken according to 50 percent liability. If he has got 28 marks out of 30 marks in the internal assessment test. Then the concerned candidate will get total marks 30+20+28=78 marks.

What if there are no internal assessment marks? 

If the marks of the examinees in the practical examination of class-12 / internal assessment of class-10 are not available, then in such a situation the marks obtained by each candidate for the written examination for that particular subject from the prescribed procedure will be calculated on the basis of the integer of that particular subject. But the marks of practical examination will be awarded proportionately.

Any candidate of class 12th (individual/institutional) in both the examinations of class-11 (annual examination and half-yearly) and/or pre-board examination of class-12 and any examinee of high school (individual/institutional) whose class- Marks of 9th Annual Examination and/or Class 10th Pre-Board Examination will not be available. They will be promoted normally without any marks.

1. If a candidate does not get marks up to a maximum of 03 subjects of annual, half-yearly, pre-board examination, the average of the marks obtained in the remaining subjects of that examination will be given in those three subjects.

2. In the event of not obtaining the minimum passing marks in the written examination but passing the internal assessment practical examination, the candidate will be given general promotion without any marks.

The available marks of class 9/10/11/12 in practical subjects will be scaled on the prescribed marks of written examination of the Board and linked to the marks of practical/internal assessment (as applicable). Merit list of the candidates who have passed the examination of the year 2021 will not be prepared.



All the registered candidates of the year 2021, who want to appear in the re-examination for the improvement of marks, will be given an opportunity to appear in the examination in any number of subjects, one or more, for the improvement of marks, without paying the fee in the upcoming board examination. Their result will be considered for the year 2021 only.
