UP board 12th practical exams from 13 to 22 Feb, corona guideline released

new Delhi. Practical examinations for the students of UP Board class 12th will be in two phases this year. The first phase will start on February 3 and end on February 12, the second phase will start on February 13 and end on February 22. According to an order issued on 21 January by UP Board of Secondary Education Secretary Divyakant Shukla, in the first phase, schools in districts located in 10 mandals including Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Faizabad, Azamgarh, Devipatan and Basti will participate.

The second phase will see participation from schools covering districts in the remaining eight divisions, including Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi and Gorakhpur. Shukla said in his order to maintain the norms of social distance in the examinations. Also released all Corona Guidelines.

These are Corona Guidelines –

Before conducting examinations, sanitize the labs of the school, other necessary equipments.
Ensuring the provision of sanitizer, handwash, thermal scanning and first aid in schools.

Students should be given admission only after handwash or hand sanitization.
Ensuring compliance of social distancing at the main entrance at the time of admission and after school examination.
If students come from school buses, public service vehicles, then they should be sanitized daily.
– Teachers, students and employees must wear masks.
– Seating arrangement of students at a distance of 6 feet.

If the student, teacher or other personnel has symptoms of cough, cold or fever, then contact the Chief Medical Officer and provide necessary medical facilities to protect against Kovid. Such a student should be seated separately and get the examination done.

For practical examinations, 50% of the total marks will be given by the internal examiner. The remaining 50% will be given by an external examiner. Practical exams for the compulsory subject ‘Moral Yoga Sports and Physical Education’ will be conducted under the supervision of the school principal.
