UP Police Recruitment: The recruitment process done by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board for Police SI (Confidential), ASI (Clerk) and ASI (Auditor) posts is starting from today. The board has again extended the last date of the application.
New Delhi. Applications will start from today for 1329 posts of Sub Inspector, Assistant Sub Inspector in Uttar Pradesh Police. Candidates will be able to apply for these posts till July 15. Earlier, the last date of application was fixed as June 30. Now it has been increased to 15 days. This recruitment done by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is for the posts of Police SI (Confidential), ASI (Clerk) and ASI (Auditor). The notification of this recruitment was issued on 23rd March itself. Candidates can apply by visiting the website of Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, uppbpb.gov.in.
The minimum educational qualification of the candidate for these posts should be graduation from any recognized university or college. Apart from this, typing skills are also important. Candidates will be selected on these posts after written test, physical test and typing test.

educational qualification-
Police Sub Inspector (Confidential) – Being a graduate, typing skills at a speed of at least 25 words per minute in Hindi (in Unicode on the board of Inscript) and 30 words per minute in English. Shorthand Shruti Lekh with a minimum speed of 80 words per minute. Must have passed O level in Computer or its equivalent examination from National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology.
Police Assistant Sub Inspector (Clerk)-Graduate with minimum speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi (in Unicode on Inscript keyboard) and 30 words per minute in English with typing skill. Must have passed O level in Computer or its equivalent examination from National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology.
Police Assistant Sub Inspector (Auditor) – Graduate with at least 15 words per minute in Hindi (in Unicode on the board of Inscript). Must have passed O Level or its examination in computer from National Institute of Electronic and Information Technology .
