Visibility is expected to be zero meters in these districts, which will impact travel.
Lowest Temperature Recorded in Etawah
Cold winds blowing from the mountains have intensified the cold in the plains of Uttar Pradesh. In the past 24 hours, Etawah was the coldest district in the state. The lowest minimum temperature recorded here was 2.4 degrees Celsius, 4.1 degrees below normal. This is the lowest minimum temperature of the season. Bahraich, Gorakhpur, Sultanpur, and Azamgarh were also the coldest districts in the state, with minimum temperatures between 3-5 degrees Celsius.
Dense Fog Warning in These Districts
A yellow alert has been issued for dense to very dense fog in Bahraich, Shravasti, Gonda, Balrampur, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Sant Kabir Nagar, and Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh today. Zero visibility is expected in these districts. In such a situation, there may be difficulties in commuting when leaving the house.
On the other hand, a warning of dense fog has been issued in Bareilly, Pilibhit, Ayodhya, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Barabanki, Ambedkar Nagar, Deoria, Varanasi, Chandauli, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Banda, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jalaun, Jhansi and Lalitpur and surrounding areas.
