In fact, many times, after leaving the job in the company, the employee had to go round to get the date of the job exit in the PF account. Now employees can also update the date of leaving their jobs.
But now the employees themselves will be able to update the date of leaving the job in their PF account online. Now there will be no need to go anywhere for this. Actually, the date of leaving job at the time of transfer or withdrawal of funds to PF account is checked. Information about this new facility has been given through EPFO social media.

now you can update the date of leaving online jobs in four steps yourself.
(1.) First of all login with UAN and password at https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/.
(2.) Then go to Manage and click on Mark Exit. Under the drop down, select PF Account Number from select employment.
(3.) Then enter Date of Exit and Reason of exit. Then click on Request OTP and enter the OTP received from the Aadhaar linked mobile number. Then select the check box.
(4.) Finally click on update and then OK. When you do this, your Date of Exit gets updated.
