Paytm Gift: Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPBL) has announced that it will gift movie ticket vouchers worth Rs 500 on the first two payments made through credit cards on UPI. Under the offer, the company will gift two movie vouchers worth Rs 250 on two transactions.
Paytm Payments Bank spokesperson said, “With Paytm Payments Bank being at the forefront to drive industry first innovations, we continue to offer special offers and discounts for the convenience of users.” “With credit cards on UPI, we have crossed another milestone in revolutionizing the digital payments landscape. Additionally, by rewarding users on payments through credit cards on UPI, we intend to promote UPI payments.”

By linking credit cards to UPI through Paytm, users can make payments to merchants by scanning the UPI QR code through the Paytm app. It allows users to use their credit cards for everyday payments even at merchants that do not have card swipe machines. Additionally, this also eliminates the need to carry plastic cards all the time. RBI has allowed banks to give credit through UPI by linking RuPay credit card.
How to take advantage of gift voucher?
- Go to the ‘Movie Tickets’ section on the Paytm app.
- Enter promo code while making payment.
- Only 1 voucher can be redeemed in a single transaction.
- The minimum price of movie ticket will be Rs 100.
- The offer can be availed once by a user.
