There is good news for the candidates preparing for UPSC NDA. The exam is going to be held next month i.e. in September. In which shift will the exam be held and how many marks will it be. Let us know.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the schedule of the National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination (UPSC NDA, NA 2 2025) examination on upsc.gov.in. As per the scheduled schedule, the examination will be conducted in two shifts on Sunday, September 14. The first shift will be from 10 am to 12:30 pm, in which there will be a mathematics exam. After this, the second shift will be from 2 pm to 4:30 pm for the General Aptitude Test.
The paper will be of this many marks
The mathematics exam will be of total 300 marks and the general aptitude exam will be of total 600 marks. Candidates who pass the written examination will be eligible for SSB examination/interview. Candidates will have to score a total of 900 marks in the interview. Let us tell you that UPSC NDA and NA II examination is being conducted for 406 vacancies in the National Defense Academy and Naval Academy.
The question papers will be in both Hindi and English languages
The question paper will contain only objective type (MCQ) questions. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English. Where necessary, only questions related to metric system of weights and measures will be asked. No candidate will be allowed to take the help of a scribe to write the answer. The use of calculator, mathematical or logarithmic tables will not be allowed.
What next?
The UPSC will release the admit card for NDA and NA 2 on upsconline.nic.in seven days before the exam. Candidates will have to use login details like application ID and date of birth to download it. If a candidate does not receive the admit card or any communication regarding his/her candidature, he/she should contact the commission in person or on its helpdesk number 011-24041001.
The UPSC said, “No candidate will normally be allowed to appear for the examination unless he/she has the e-admit card for the examination. On receipt of the e-admit card, check it carefully and if there are any errors, report the same to the UPSC immediately. The courses to which the candidates will be admitted will be as per their eligibility, their educational qualification for various courses and the preferences given by the candidates.”
