The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 7,994 Lekhpal posts. The online application process for this recruitment began on December 29, 2025. Candidates who meet the required qualifications for the Lekhpal position can apply by visiting the commission’s official website, upsssc.gov.in. The deadline for application is January 28, 2026.
UPSSSC released the official notification for this recruitment on December 16, 2025. Subsequently, the commission announced the application deadline. The application process has begun today. Candidates can submit their applications and fees until January 28, 2026. If any candidate makes a mistake while filling out the form, they will have the opportunity to correct their application until February 4, 2026.
Who can apply?
To apply for the Lekhpal position, candidates must have a valid Uttar Pradesh Preliminary Eligibility Test (UP PET) scorecard. Additionally, they must have passed the Intermediate (12th) or equivalent examination from a recognized board or institute.
