Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, who hails from Punjab, has won the title of Miss Universe 2021. 21-year-old Harnaaz defeated the model of Paraguay and South Africa to win the Miss Universe crown. The Miss Universe 2021 pageant was held in Eilat, Israel. India has been crowned Miss Universe after 21 years. Before Harnaaz, Lara Dutta won this title in the year 2000. The selection committee of this ceremony included actress and Miss Universe India 2015 Urvashi Rautela. Along with her, Adamari López, Adriana Lima, Cheslie Kryst, Iris Mittenaere, Lori Harvey, Marian Rivera and Rena Sofer were also members of the selection committee.

Since childhood, Harnaaz is fond of singing and dancing.
