Know the new dress code
According to sister website India.com, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has issued new dress guidelines (Vaishno Devi Dress Code) for darshan in the building. During this time, devotees will have to wear decent clothes which can maintain the dignity of Vaishno Devi Bhawan. Also, other devotees should not face any inconvenience.
Entry will not be allowed in these clothes
According to the media report, in the new guidelines of the Shrine Board (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board), it has been said that now the devotees who reach Vaishno Devi Bhawan wearing T-shirt, capri, shorts or other short clothes will not be allowed to follow the Vaishno Devi Dress Code. There will be no entry into the mother’s cave. They will also be debarred from participating in ‘Atka Aarti’. Information boards have been installed at various places in the Vaishno Devi complex to inform the devotees about this rule. Besides, they are also being informed about the new rules through loudspeaker.
Shrine Board took a big decision
According to the report, the rule of coming to Vaishno Devi Bhawan wearing appropriate attire (Vaishno Devi Dress Code) has been in place for a long time but it was never strictly implemented. Now, in view of the incident of some people turning Vaishno Devi Bhawan into a place of fun and picnic, the Shrine Board (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board) has decided to take strict action in this regard. Under this, people are being appealed to wear modest clothes and come for the darshan of Maa Durga. If you are also going to Vaishno Devi, then go wearing appropriate clothes as per the guidelines.
