New Delhi. The fourth Vande Bharat Train is going to run from Mumbai, the financial capital of the country, soon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi can flag off this train on June 29. Earlier, the trial of the train was done this week, in which it has passed. By running Vande Bharat on this route, passengers will be able to reach from Mumbai to Goa in just 7 hours. At present, Tejas train is running on this route, whose speed will be less than Vande Bharat.
Railway sources say that the Vande Bharat train has passed in the trial run on the Mumbai-Goa route. It is expected that by the end of June its operations will also start. Sources say that Prime Minister Modi can flag off this train on June 29 from Madgaon station in Goa. Konkan Railway will operate this Vande Bharat Express running between Mumbai-Goa. Earlier on Tuesday, a successful trial of this train was done. In the trial, the Vande Bharat train covered its distance in just 7 hours.
Vande Bharat train will run at full speed
The speed of Vande Bharat is being fully opened to run the train on this route. Sources say that in the trial, this train ran at its top speed of 180 kilometers per hour. During the trial, the Vande Bharat train left from platform number 7 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai at 5.30 am and reached Madgaon in Goa at 12.50 pm. In return, this train started at 1.15 pm and reached CSMT late in the evening. The official associated with the case says that this internal trial has been completed and soon the regular passenger train will be run.
3 Vande Bharat trains have run so far
So far 3 Vande Bharat trains have been run from the financial capital of the country. These trains are running on 3 different routes. In this, Vande Bharat trains are running on Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Capital, Mumbai-Sainagar Shirdi and Mumbai-Solapur routes. The government’s intention is to run about 75 Vande Bharat trains across the country by the year 2023. So far 16 Vande Bharat trains have been run in the country.
Many amenities including free Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi facility will be provided to the passengers in this train from Mumbai to Goa and from Goa to Mumbai in return. In this, facilities like GPS based information system, bio-vacuum toilet and seating arrangement are being provided. The train is fitted with a regenerative braking system, which saves 30 per cent electricity. This is the first such train which will come and go from Mumbai to Pune, Nashik without any support engine.
